i took 3 young boys running today one boy brought his hounds and my 2 boys and i took 3,,,,we dropped off the first time just to jump a couple of 1/3 grown rabbits , dogs did a poor job running,,,,,,2nd drop we made we jumped at least 12 rabbits and the dogs had a hay day,,,,,,,there was some beautiful noise out there but the most exciting part was seeing 3 young boys having a real good time,,,,,i got a big lump in my throat when one boy said would you listen to that, thats what i like to hear as the dogs shot out of the brush across a corn field,,,,,,,,i guess what im saying is dont ever get to busy not to take a youngster with you running or hunting,,,,,,

that was awesome today jeff. didnt do so hot in the first spot but that second spot was LOADED with rabbits. they were runnin left and right. i had a blast a seen a couple of good dogs run. I really liked that timber dog. I look forward to doing it again real soon. keith

no problem keith enjoyed your company,,,,,timber can run pretty good but today wasnt the conditions i like to run,,,,,,,it was nearly 75 degrees by 6;30, but we will go again i usually run every sat,,,,,

ok...maybe we will try and go again next weekend or something...keith
