need shed antler tips for beagles

I have a new beagle pup and I was informed that they are good for finding shed antlers. If anyone knows how to go about trying to get her to start this would be greatly apreciated. Thank you

I had never heard of this until today and a guy I work with was telling me he is teaching his Lab to find sheds, and she found her first yesterday. He said from the time she was a pup sheds were the only toys she had. He would play with her using the sheds and then slowley satrted hiding them in the house as the played. then moved to the outdoors doing the same thing. Hope this helps, Stan

If you plan on using this pup for rabbit hunting, I would not recommend letting it find pleasure from ANYTHING deer related.Just my opinion!have fun with your new pardner
