Bev. TAB hats?

Post by BH »

I read in the Feb. issue where you were going to give away a hat to the winners of trails or something like that. I was wondering if you have the designs of the hats were we could see them? Are you going to sell them to the public or just give them away to the winners? Just wondering. ;)
Dog box $500, Shock collar $600, Tracking collar $1,000, pick up truck 22,000, A kid shooting his first rabbit PRISELESS
Thanks Jeff

Both. I am selling the hats at the Eliminator and other hunts that I attend and will put an ad for them soon in The American Beagler. My first batch is due to arrive tomorrow, so I don't have one to photograph and put on-line yet. These are navy with very light silver lettering (no dog). They say "The American Beagler" all the way across the front in big letters and then underneath that just above where the brim meets the hat it says in smaller letters "The Magazine Ahead of the Pack"

I will be carrying 2 different styles of hats; one a regular cap style that will sell for around $10 + shipping (probably tan) and the navy heavier-made medium profile ones that I have coming in first will sell for $15 + shipping.

I'm in the process of creating my own hound for the logo, so it may be a while before I add a hound and I may carry hats with just lettering and some with both hound and lettering - depends on what brings more orders I guess.

Bev, please make some of these in a low-profile cap too. I cant stand a big ole high-hat that makes me look like my forehead is a billboard.

Plus the low-profile cap slices thru the wind better when I am sprinting behind my dogs.....you know that I am faster than the average deer and quick as a cat......

hehehe

Darrin, I'm with you - I don't like the big "Fudd" hats either. The navy ones are a medium profile - they aren't teeny-tiny flat like the Eddie Bauer caps, but they are more like a ball cap.

Ralph still likes them big-ol' stand-up Fudd hats and I imagine some of the other men do too, so I'll have to offer both. I'll put good pictures of them in the magazine so you'll know what you're getting.
