Baker & Flag came out of Frank Reese's kennel in NC. They were used by lots of Spo & Large Pack trialers & hunters as well. Produced top rabbit hounds. If I remember right, Dingus MacRae was owned by Bob Nicoll in New York and produced lots of top offspring in Large Pack and the early days of SPO. Dingus produced one of the first top producing SPO bitches FC Cane Country Jennie. She won Acadiana's first licensed SPO trial in '81 and the Deep South Fed. in '82.
If available today, I would breed to any of the three without thought! Lots of hunt & brains in these 3. :)

While not familiar with the actual hounds, I will definitely put my stamp of approval on the bloodline. FC Cane Country Jenny, as stated above, was sired by Dingus Macrae. She was bred to Gay Flag, which produced River Road Cyclone, among others. She was also bred to FC Glynn's Gay Demon(same cross as Flag) and produced FC River Road Challenger. I prefer the Cyclone cross over the Challenger cross, but have seen and owned some excellent hounds that carry these bloodlines.

I saw Jennie win the Deep South. Never saw Cyclone but put a Lic win or two and places on Challenger in SPO & Large Pack both. Chalenger finished at South Texas in Large Pack. I think Jennie produced 4 or 5 and I thought enough of her to get her nominated to the SPO Hall of Fame. Frank Reese of the Gay Kennels said Jennie was one of the best he had see in his lifetime.
