Is it too warm to hunt?

Friday is opening day of bunny season here in Ohio, and I can not wait to go. I'm mildly concerned though because we have only had a couple mild frosts and it is going to be a high of 60 degrees this weekend. Is this too warm? Do you think the bunnies will be out, what about ticks, etc...?

Good luck

I would probably have to wear a jacket if it were that cool  I would bet you could find a bunny in those temps.Ticks are year around residents down here and if a person worried about them they would have to stay home all year.
The only thing I would suggest is if it is that temp and you plan to hunt all day, don't carry the bunnies around all day before cleaning them and putting them on ice.
Have fun and be glad it isn't in the nineties.

If 60 degrees is too hot to hunt rabbit some in the south would not get much rabbit hunting in

i run my dogs year round even in the hot months june through september and hunt jan - feb only because deer hunters keep me from starting earlier when its hot i just run early or at night
