Thanks for your concern about me but ive not had time here lately for a vacation except I did take a trip down to Swings last month to go rabbit hunting with him.
I hope I can ease your mind by stating the following:
Bev does probably as much moderating on this board as I do and between the two of us I think we keep things covered pretty well. There was one weekend last month that both of us were away(she was in Canada and I was in Indiana) and a couple threads may of got out of hand but I quickly took care of them as soon as I was able. I am a firm believer in the right to free speech. I rarely delete or edit posts unless they are vulgar. I think this is one of the best boards going because everyone is allowed to speak their mind without worry of it being deleted because it doesn’t fit some ones agenda. One day you may have an issue you need aired or opinions on. I hope we can provide you the forum to do so. As long as it doesn't involve outright slander or vulgarity, it will be allowed.
My best advice to you is if you don’t like the way a board is ran then don’t go there and post or advertise things for sale. There are lots of boards out there, I hope you find one that suits your needs!

I'm pretty much on the same page as Aaron here. Sometimes it's a very difficult decision as to where to draw that line in the sand. One has to decide if the OUTCOME of such discussions will eventually benefit the sport or tear it down. It's a decision few of you would want to make on a daily basis, because some things you will agree with, others you won't. (See: "Crap Bev Took When She Required Registration for the Board)

I bite my tongue quite often when I read some of the threads. I'm an opinionated old heifer, and would LOVE to say a lot of things that I just let pass. Why? Because I'm thinking as painful as some of the truths are that we are reading, sincere, intelligent people will somehow find a way to take the lemons and make lemonade. They just need to sort it out and come together with input from others. How many posts bashing me have I let stand, and how many have I deleted? I can't remember deleting any. I brace myself and take my criticisms, and although they hurt at times, I know it may help me understand my role in making beagling a better place for people. It helps me see where I fall short.

I'd much rather see all positive posts - never any griping, but that's just not human nature, and that's not the way the real world works. Points can be made without vulgarity; points can be made without slander, and that's what Aaron and I try to enforce - nothing more.

I love ya Mitch, so don't take this as a post against ya because it certainly isn't. I'm just trying to support the moderator in whom I put my faith. You're as outspoken as the rest of us, (lol) and your opinion on this subject is as welcome as the rest. Keep breeding those world-beaters and speakin' your mind. I WOULD HATE TO RECAMEND TO SOMEONE NEW IN BEAGLING TO LOOK AT THIS SITE.YOU HAVE 2 OR 3 PEOPLE THAT SEEM TO POST SOMETHING NEGATIVE EVERYTIME THE OTHERONE TRIES TO SAY SOMETHING.IF THESE PEOPLE ACT THIS WAY ON HERE THEY PROBABLEY DO THE SAME THING AT A FIELD TRIAL.JODY MAY

bev and arron i did not mean to bash you guys because i also think this is a great board and much more open then the others .

all im saying is that a certain someone is behind almost every argument on here and maybe i was just blowing off steam too lololololol
