We feed our beagles Pinnacle by Breeders Choice and it has helped with a number of problems we had with other brands. Here's link to all the info and "fluff"...

I have fed the Diamond High Performance 24/20 for about 14 months now and I will never switch back to anything else. I get it for $15.50/50 lb here at the local Tractor Supply here in Georgetown. After feeding brands like Joy, Purina, River Run, and also Sportmix...........Diamond is the only way to go, keeps my dogs running good day in and day out.............

Even though I can get Purina HI Pro for $13 a 50# bag I still pay the extra dollar for Diamond! It's worth it in my book!!!!

I'm feeding Diamond 24/20 , switched for awhile and had to get my dogs back on it.They started looking like crap on the other feed and their performance was down. Now every thing is back to normal!

how much diamaond does everyone feed. example 30lb dog=how many cups.
mine are 15in beagles that weigh exactly 30 lbs and they get 2 cups which is what the diamond green bag recommends. Just wondering if every one goes by the label.

I use self feeders and they eat whenever they like and do well on this system. :D

I don't have a lot of dogs so, I am able to use IAMs (Lamb & Rice) puppy food for the pups and Science Diet for the Adults. Walmart sells both of these and the prices are high, but reasonable compared to the "pet stores". Word of mouth advertising is hard to beat and I too would like to try Diamond, but have been unable to find it in my area. I also have been curious about Nutra as they seem to be a high end food, but it starts to approach the taboo "over a buck per/Lb." In the "for what it's worth catagory" I also use the Eukanuba treats to reward positive behaviors while training the pups. A pocket full last me all morning and it has the Omega 3 & 6 additives in it. With some shame, I also admit to feeding my B&T Coonhound Walmart's Ole Roy High Protein. It has all the problems that you'd expect from a cheap/generic food, but this hound eats over 50 LBs a week by himself. If anyone knows where Diamond can be purchases here in central VA, let me know.
