Best food that I have ever fed. I was feeding eukanuba until I bought a pup from Billy Hubbard. I saw how his dogs looked and made the switch. The puppy food is outstanding. They grow like weeds on this stuff and not much waste.

I have to agree with Greg H. My two pups look really good and there is not much waste. My dogs coats are shinny and they are well toned. I will say it is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. Pro- plan also has a club that you can get rebates from if you are buying alot of food.

I've fed Pro Plan in the past and really liked it! I can't get it where I'm at now and feed Nutri Source, which I feel is just as good. Both are better than Euk. in my opinion.

I just switched to it a couple of weeks ago. My dogs took the transition really well, they seem to have less gass, and if that is the only improvement I see well that is enough

I fed the Purina Pro Plan Performance for the winter and during hunting season. And it helped alot. It kept weight on them and they had alot of energy. Not alot of poop either. And i only had to feed 2 cups to each dog. Im really happy with the food.

Pro Plan Performance is the best for a dog you are running a lot. My dog is a house pet as well as a hunting beagle and show dog. He has excellent energy level, excellent shine to his coat, ears heal up fast, etc. His sperm count is higher also. It is awsome dog food for a very active dog!!! Dan M

E-GADS Emery ... Is that true?!

I'm feeding my hounds Purina dry food, and Alpo canned food. I'd hate to be supporting those P.E.T.A Rat Bastidges!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I posted that by info that I had heard, then started looking into it a little deeper and had trouble finding it. So for now, then I deleted that. Purina is a big supporter of ARF, which I had heard was in bed with PETA. Until I can confirm that, I deleted my statement. I will keep digging and let you know.

I realize animal shelters need food and such so that dogs and cats (did I say cats? LOL) don't have to be destroyed. But I can't support anything that supports PETA.

Well, I e-mailed ARF and point blank asked them about PETA and he gave me every answer except for the question that I asked. Looking over the ARF website, I see that it is mainly a rescue organization. However, that being said, I did see in there about animals for companions not for working or hunting dogs..... So, you can take that for what it is worth in your own opinion and can support Purina or not based on that. Hope this clarified things a little.

guess you guys better start looking into hollywood and your fav stars and studios. there is a ton of them that are anti-fur and support peta. no more pam anderson nudie books

i guess.
personally i feed purina for the quality and reputation... not for political reasons. not that i would want to support peta or anything, but first and foremost i want quality feed for the dogs. my money for purina food passes thru many hands before it even gets to purina and what they do with it is not my first concern. just another way to look at things i guess. but if a person is gonna boycott this and that... id suggest checking into the movie scene but we all gotta decide which things are more important.

I have fed Pro Plan for more than 10yr's and see no reason to change. Dogs stay in good health ,good hair coats , and kennel's are easy to clean. They support many different types of dog trials.
