We switched from Diamond to the Chicken and Rice by Exceed and have noticed a big improvement in dogs overall appearance and stamina. Plus, A whole lot less pooh to clean up.
The problem with Diamond and some others is they are loaded with fillers with no nutritional value so you have to feed more and scoop more crap. Sure the price is better but do the math on it. Exceed requires a whole lot less to feed .

Haven't used Exceed but have been feeding Extreme made by Purina Rolston. They also make food for horses. Buy it at local hatchery and owner recommended it. Was feeding chicken and rice puppy food and just switched to reduced Fat Adult. Pups are 8 months and coats are beautiful and very little firm stool. It conains glucosomine for joitnts and natually preserved with Vitamin E. Contains 26 percent protein and 15 percent crude fat. They have Lamb and rice for working dogs. It's a little pricey, $27.00 for 35 lb., but I like it.

Who is the manufacturer of this dog food? Can you post the ingredients on here? The nutritional break down?

Exceed is made for Wal-Mart/Sam's Club by Doane Products Co. Doane is the largest manufacturer of private label petfoods in the U.S., with more factories than anyone in the business. Maxximum Nutrition is the Walmart version of the same/similar food.

The 30/20 Exceed is actually cheaper at my local Sams Club than the 26/16. I think the 26/16 was around $22 and the 30/20 was around $20.

Walmart carries a brand called Maxximum Nutrition (a dollar or two more expensive than Exceed at Sams)....the only thing I can tell that is different between the two is the pellet size and shape, all ingredients look to be the same. Exceed has thin square pellets and the Maxximum has small triangled shaped pellets.
Doane is the manufacture on both bags....

I BOUGHT THE FIRST BAG OF MAX NUTRITION FROM WALMART AND HAVE GONE THRU 3/4 OF BAG. YES ITS 30/20. I USUALLY FEED KASCO WITH GREAT RESULTS(ALSO 30/20). KASCO IS HARD FOR ME TO GET LOCALLY SO I GRABED MAXIMUM NUTRITION IN A PINCH. I AM IMPRESSED SO FAR. NOT A LOT OF STOOL AND DOGS SEEM TO LOOK AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN NORMAL. I WILL PROBABLY TRY ANOTHER BAG. I WAS FEEDING DIAMOND WITH TERRIBLE RESULTS.
