If you recently purchased a dog and have the AKC papers, can you enter it into a field trial, even though you have not transfered the paperwork yet?

I believe you can. I know I have and have never had any problems. I think there is a rule you have 7 working days to submitt the paper work to the AKC after the dogs has been transfered and entered into an event. I would send the papers in and write down the info and run the dog in the trial to make sure you haven't broke any rules..
