Bloodline Ratings

Post by Blue Briar Kennel »

I think this will be interesting to see what everyone thinks. Here is a list of bloodlines I would like everyone to rate. 10 being the best and 1 being the worst. Only rate these bloodlines if you have ran with dogs from these bloodlines, not by what you have heard.

1. Patch
---a. hunt/desire
---b. line control
---c. conformation
---d. check work
---e. speed
2. Northway
---a. hunt/desire
---b. line control
---c. conformation
---d. check work
---e. speed
3. Turbo
---a. hunt/desire
---b. line control
---c. conformation
---d. check work
---e. speed
4. T-Rex
---a. hunt/desire
---b. line control
---c. conformation
---d. check work
---e. speed
5. Bramlett
---a. hunt/desire
---b. line control
---c. conformation
---d. check work
---e. speed
6. Dingus
---a. hunt/desire

---c. conformation
---d. check work
---e. speed
7. Branko other than Turbo
---a. hunt/desire
---b. line control

---d. check work
---e. speed
Here is an example. If I wanted to rate the Bramlett line just put

5. Bramelett

From what I've observed I wouldn't give the Patch bred hounds that I've seen as high a marks for speed that some have. I think they show good desire, hunt, line control, checkwork but have not thought they possessed alot of foot.JMHO
