Wily coyote finally captured in Central Park
Elusive animal jumps in water, ducks under bridge before being cornered.
This was on msn news this morning. It went on to say he was relocated.
Hopefully not near any of you.

Saw that. I wonder if they think that was the only one there..lol..as big as that park is it could probably stand a small pack just to keep the stray dogs and cats in check..lol.. CHH

I just found a great place to run that is with 15 minutes of the house (wich is hard to find around here). I have been there 3 times now and have seen atleast 15 rabbits every time. The only problem is the last 2 evenings when it started to get dark I had yotes come in on my dogs. I have never had this happen before but both times I could hear them howling on their way in. Tonight they sounded like they were within 100 yards before I was able to catch up my dogs.

Im not sure what I can do in there right now. The ground is owned by the County. They dont allow hunting there, but you can run your dogs. I will be carring the next time I go back just in case.

Here in the Southwest ... I always have my .270 WSM handy for 'Yotes when I'm out running the beagles! I also spend time calling and shooting "Wiley", and run traplines for them too! The only good coyote is a dead coyote!!

Coyoted in the city is really no surprise. I bow hunted westchester county for years(right above the city) & it is loaded with them. I have friends in the city that have seen them before also. The media just made a big deal out of it. Not many are killed in westchester as it is bow hunting only.

I read in the paper last week that they have been seen by a ranger in Rock Creek park in Washington DC.
