Fair Trade

Post by Goes »

About a week ago, I got a call from our local animal rescue group about a dog. Well I am thinkin beagle cause I have helped them out with about a dozen or so in the past. So I drive about an hour to home where we are gonna rescue this beagle, only when I get there it isn't a beagle  I was a DAG GUM CHIHUAHUA :???:

Well I dont know the first thing about this little rat dogs, Well it turns out the lady who owned her had died and no one new for about a week. So this little rat dog was knocking on the good lords door when I got there.

So feeling bad that no one else would help. I bring her home and start her on the refeeding program, I couldn't count her vertebra down her back she was so bad off. Well after a week she was runnin around just as happy as a young pup.

Then Sunday I get a call from a lady I sold a dog to a year and half ago. She told me that her and hubby were gettin divorced and he took off and left her the dog. Well she sure enough doesn't want anything to do this
dog cause it was hubby's.

Well I made a trade, I took the beagle back and traded her the chihuahua. I have hunted with this dog about a half a dozen times last year with hubby and he was gettin pretty good. So I am excited to have him and she was excited to have the chihuahua cause she has 2 little girls that just fell in love with rat dog.

So here's the moral of the story, guys when you leave, take your dog with you or I might get it   :-o :D :)
Good hunting from Goes
