UKC Beagle Board

Post by Redtick »

I clicked on UKC's Beagle Board and it referred me to this site. I have both sites on my favorites list and visit both sites often. I hope UKC's new board has many of the same features that this board does. I know http://www.rabbithuntingonline.com has it to where you can post a video clip with your message. I haven't tried it yet on this board but I would bet it works. I like being able to post pictures like this one of Hunting Beagle Champion Half Way Cheyenne.

I do alot of video clips and hope to post some of them in the future. You fellows can hear and see what I am talking about. Another thing I like about this board is that you can correct mistakes. I may have made a post or 2 on UKC's other boards that I may have changed later on if I could. I like attaching my signature too.

I cannot figure out how to post a picture here. I tried it a few days ago and it didnt work. Maybe my wife is right and I am dumb>>>>

Can a picture be uploaded to this board from like a disc or from my computer or does it have to be a picture already on the web???

Unfortunately the board doesn't have any way to distinguish your computer from all the others so downloading a picture direct from your computer will not work except in the Avatar at the bottom of your profile information then it has to be a real small one.You need to find a host where you can upload your pictures to storage area or some web hosts will allow html coding and that will work.It can be lots of fun and heck you need a web page so the rest of us can look at your hounds.

Photo Web Sites

Post by Redtick »

I used the member photo section of http://www.rabbithuntingonline.com as the host for the original picture. Chris designed this board also so it is the best place to post a picture to use on this board. msn.com has free photo web sites availible if you join their program. I have my coondogs at http://communities.msn.com/EnglishCoonhounds/pictures It is for just English Coonhounds but I also have a similar photo web site at
http://communities.msn.com/BEAGLEPICTUR ... agles.msnw that anyone can open an album and post pictures of their beagles. The site is run by the same folks that build the software for you computers so it is very easy to use. Once you have pictures posted there, it is fairly simple to use them on this board. A picture is worth 1000 words. I need to spend some time and downsize a picture to use on the avitor, I just haven't got around to it yet.

Boy Dave, I still think that's the best looking dog I've seen. I guess I'm just a little prejudice though. Did you breed her yet?

Cheyenne

Post by Redtick »

Yes :D , Cheyenne has a Best of Show UKC and we hope to finish her as a Beagle Bench Champion. She is at Terry's visiting Diamond Tip as I write this. I decided to go with him and I will send you an e-mail on why I went with him in more detail but I am glad I did because of it being her 1st time, I may have had problems if I had to travel far. Plus, Diamond's pups are something I know about and like very much. Perhaps I can trade you a pup out of this cross for one out of Bandit?
