Buddy of mine is thinking of investing in one of these collars. What do you all think? I've heard pretty good things about them...

Dogs seem to quickly learn when they are on and when they are not.
If you are selective about when the dog is not allowed to bark, they will learn that too, and that is a good thing.

I think they were one of the best inventions made for our sport and that Tri-Tronics is the best to make them. This is my opionion thou. Hope this helps you. Oh yeah I got the new G2 Classic 70 3 dog unit from Sacandaga Dog Supply and it works great. Hope this helps

Be careful buying a barking collar beacuse whenever he barks he will get shocked and he wont want to open in the field in fear of getting shocked. Get you a system you can control and give them a command while shocking them and they will learn to stop barking on command rather than when they bark. I agree with Stumbo, buy a Tri-tronics classic 70 g-2 or buy a tri-tronics trashbreaker. The number of dog set is up to you and how many dogs you want to control at one time. Just my thought, I may be wrong.

I've got the Classic 70 G2 3 dog model, was just wondering about the bark collar. Got a buddy who has one and it doesn't hurt the dogs opening up in the field. I think they figure out when they can/can't bark.
