If you've a moment...

Sorry for being short, been a tough week. But, if you've a moment, say a little prayer for my wife's father. He's come down with this what they call a small cell cancer. Fast grow'n stuff, they tried the chemo and it fought right back. He comes home tomorrow to be at peace. He's the best father-inlaw a feller could have, and this is a tough pill to swallow.
If you've a moment, ask the Lord to ease his pain and help the kids. He's already given up and wants to be with the Lord.....I don't know what else to do. Times like this makes you feel so small.... Thanks...Patch

May his pain be eased, May your hearts be lifted, and on that glorious day when our father calls him, May his soul sore as the eagle on his journey home. God bless you and your family.

You got it Patch. I got some tough news late last week, my sister called and has breast cancer. According to my wife, pre-menapausal (sp?) breast cacner isn't the good kind (if there is such a thing). So, I am not at the same stage as you, but I will add your father in law to our prayers. May his time go painlessly.

My prayers and well wishes go out to you and his family. My wife lost her father last fall. He was a one of a kind father in law also.

"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
As believers, we have dominion and authority over any sickness, disease or illness. Thank God, we are healed by Jesus' stripes. I will pray for your father-in-law and thank God in advance for his healing.

Patch,
May God grant him Peace and Comfort that can only come from Him! It is a Blessing that He is 'ready' to go and be with the Lord!
Too many aren't and we should pray for them even more! May God Bless you and give you the strength to face this struggle. I have lived to see both my parents pass away and the only real Peace is believing that this is a temporary separation and that I will see them again when it is my time to join them in Heaven!
God Bless,
Dexter

Charles,
We will keep him and his family in our prayers. It truly is good knowing he's right with our Lord and ready to come home , hopfully you guys can find peace in that , but I know it's hard to give him up for your wife. As the song says there is a better home awaiting.
