Repel Permanone
Try a product called Repel Permanone that you can find in the Sportings goods department of Wal Mart.

You spray Repel on your clothes and other gear. It repells and kills Ticks and Mosquitoes for several weeks. If you properly treat your clothes, you can wash them several times and it still works...

I second Harvey's vote! This product is meant as a "treatment" for clothing and other gear. I will last a few washings according to the directions. I spray it directly on my clothing WHILE WEARING IT eventhough the directions say NOT to! Spray it LIGHTLY where it might soak through, avoid your skins, and don't inhale. I have used it in this manner for several years and it has not killed me yet. I am really sensitive to redbug and tick bites and sometimes I neglect to spray but it seems to provide protection from the residue on my boots or briar clothing. If you desire more protection for your face from gnats and such, you can use OFF or similar product for direct application to the skin.
