I've read where several have commented on Muck Boots are the ones. I'm shopping and was wondering which style would you reccomend? It looks to me like the "Woody Max" would be the ticket for this old rabbit hunter. The others don't look like they'ed hold up against pounding the brush and heavy briars. Your input would be appreciated!

Last year I heard that a rogue C130 dropped a whole load of our Ga Timber Rattlers up there on you guys!!!! I don't see the words SNAKE PROOF any where on the website!!!!

I have a pair of RED WING IRISH SETTERS, they have extra protection on the front toe area for going into brush. They are gortex which I strongly recomend. Also they are thinsulated which is another plus. I think I paid around $150 for them. Having a good pair of boots is very important, your feet must aways be warm and dry while out there hunting.

I just bought a pair of wetlands, same as woodymax, except for the camo design and about $20 less. I've had them about 2 weeks and I have no complaints. They work real good in the mud.

I have a pair of the Woody Armor muck boots and I love them they will hold up great in the briers and they are snake proof.I think they cost me around $150 but it was money well spent.

I have used the wetland boot for about 3 years, work great and no dry rotting like Lacrosse.

I wouldn't reccomend Muck boots or any rubber style boot for rabbit hunting. You need between 200 and 600 grams of thinsulate and the boot to be light weight. When rabbit hunting you are on the move and you don't want heavy boots or over insulated. I would get a more athletic, light weight, mildly insulated boot that is waterproof (gortex).

Muck boots are second to none , I have tried them all the best boots on the market i chose the chore boot . They do not sweat ur feet and i promise they are pretty much impossible to tear up.

i have had my Muck Chores for over 3 years now and they are great No leaking, lightweight And have held up Fairly Well in the Blackberrys the outside Did get a little tore Up But still work GFREAT My Feet have never Got cold And i have wore these Boots Elk Hunting at -20 degrees Feet stayed Worm and dry. I also wear them Judging and Runnin Dogs. they are lighter than the others i have tried.......

Thanks for the input on Muck Boots. As far as those rattlesnakes, you can keep them down south. We have enough trouble with the coyotes up here in the north.

If I ever buy anymore rubber boots I will give Muck boots a try. I have some 1000 gram thinsulate wolverine rubber boots that are on the heavy side.

I have a pair of the muck hosiers and love them just bought my son a pair too as far as I am concerned there is nothing else out there.

Muck boots are great.They are the easiest boots to get on and off I have ever had.

Get a pair you will love them.I have rabbit hunted with mine for 3 years in tough briars.They will go one more year.Lightweight boot.You can buy them insulated or non- insulated.Well worth the money
