Pics of Today's hunt

Post by Lance »

Here's a couple of pics from todays hunt. Jumped 24 killed 19. One feller left early and took his two with him......17 in the pic. Last year we jumped 21 and killed 19 in the same place!

Here's my son Tyler with Buster, Spook, and Rock.

lance, that looks like an awesome ending to a hunt. makes me want to call off work to rabbit hunt tomorrow. do you guys in n. kentucky have alot of rabbits in general or just a good spot to hunt? nice to see a beagler be able to back his hounds with a pic like that. it seperates the guys that just "talk".

Certain parts of N. Kentucky have good populations. This particular place is an overgrown horse farm.

Dogs pounded for 6 hours. I bet the longest period between rabbits was no longer that 5 min. No jump shooting either.

Ken, OH yea....the two younger dogs are out of Sam and the Weir Creek female. My other female out of the cross is in heat or she would have been there. They sure are maturing into nice gundogs!

Rneil......no, Rattler wasn't with us. Although he still runs good, I bought him primarily to breed to. His breeding is irreplaceable...wouldn't want to take a chance on losing him.

Guys I'm not knocking you in any way, but if I'm not mistaken the limit is 4 per person x 4 people is 16.
