I hate to hear that. I figured something was up by where he placed at the last trial up that way.

How old was the hound?
The reason I am asking is because I had a 2 year old die of kidney failure a couple years ago. It is highly unlikely my dog got into poison.

Craig, Digger was a very nice hound and I know this is hard on you, You know you did everything you could , he was treated like a king. Sorry to hear you had to make that decision I was really praying he would pull through for you.

Craig I am sorry to hear about Digger, he is one of the few dogs that I have seen that could actually lock onto a rabbit and not let it have any peace. He will definitely be hard to replace. I can hear that chop of his in my sleep. It seems that the good ones just don't last long. Best of luck in the future and hope that pup turns out for you.
