I just got a 6 week old pup and want to know if I put her in the garge with a heat lamp if this will keep her warm enough. It has been getting in the teens almost every night here. THANKS

I would not. To insure you keep her I would not think it is too much trouble to bring her in.

I have a litter of pups and an unheated garage. I have an insulated dog house with a run in the garage with only an old fashioned trouble light and a 75W bulb in it. It is between 65-75 degrees in there without the dogs adding body heat to it as well. I also have a flap of carpet covering the opening. Get a setup going and put a thermometer in there and see how warm it is. Also bedding is a good idea, whether it be cedar chips, straw, or a piece of carpet...

It has been as cold as 3 degrees outside here and my pups and momma are toasty warm.

If you have some nice warm/dry bedding along with the heat lamp, she will be just fine in the garage. Make sure she has plenty of food and water.
