Tight Mouth

female, 1yr. old. has great hunt and jumping own rabbits.
but she just barks about 100ft. after the jump and takes the rabbit on silent, reckon she will open more or not ?
been packed and soloed.

I can't speak for her Dave but most of the young dogs I've seen open more as they get older but I'm sure there are exceptions.

she should improve with age most do.

Try to get her in on some sight chases, a rabbit roll cage helps from what I've seen w/ pups.

Coolbrze is right sight chases in small pens has gotton several of my pups to open.But age usally will bring them around.
I wish I had your problem , I can't get half of mine to shut up. :lol:

there can be a fine line between too much mouth and not enough.
