I would like to know if we have any beagle hunters in Iraq. If we do I would really like to have an address for you so that I can send you care packages and anything you would like or want. I feel like it is a very small way I can support those that are so far from home and in harms way. Thanks.

I am a gulf war veteran, The best thing you could do is write to the soldiers that are there now. You would not believe how important it is to get a letter from someone when you are that far from home. Also you could video tape some dogs running and send that along with a letter and care package. I have to agree with clousewt. A letter from home is the most important thing I ever got. A tape of running dogs is a great idea. During the holidays especially. Contact the USO and they can tell you alot more.

There is a website called anysoldier.com that you can go on and request addresses for certain people and send them care packages or letters. My 4-H club did this and you can choose what state, division etc.

Tom, thank you for your service to our country. We post names of people who request prayer on a 5 foot dry erase board where I worship. The top right corner is full of active duty military, including one young man from our congregation in the naval academy. The reason I mention this is that when we send them anything, we need to remind them that we pray daily for them, for the continued success and successful completion of their mission, and for their safe return home as well as for all to be well with the loved ones that they are separated from for now. My utmost respect and admiration for those who served and are serving, God with you all.
