Your favorite rabbit gun

Looking at Judes last post about a shotgun got me wondering. What is everyones favorite rabbit gun and why?
Mine is a double barrel 12 ga. Tri-Star. Not a real expensive gun but it looks good. I like it because it is short and light and easy to carry around.
The main reason I bought it I guess is because I can remember my Grandpa carried one that looks alot like it before he died when he could still hunt rabbits. I guess I got it for sentimental reasons. I'd like to hear about anybody's favorite rabbit gun. I'm sure there are some good stories out there.

Not to be different, OK maybe I am, but I would just as well use my Parker bow with field tips. Makes it fun and I don't care if I get a rabbit or not. I don't eat them.
Now if I was going to shoot a few for the meat, it's hard to beat the old Mossberg 500 in 410 with #6's.

I shot 12 gauge for years for some dumb reason I thought I needed all the reach and power. Then I got tired of just having enough rabbit meat left for a SMALL stew. Remington 20 gauge 26" modified barrel with light weight loads and powder is my pick now. If I buy another gun it will be Charles Daly in a 20 or 410 gauge maybe even a .22 pistol with shorts in it. Now that would be a challenge and fun plus I'd still get enough for me to eat. We fuss about no rabbits to run and all of our good places are hunted out and then some people go out and kill every one that they can??????????? Go figure??????????????????
I tense and joke with all of my hunting friends now that have 12 gauges and tell them that they are confessing to me that they must be afraid that their dogs are not good enough to bring the rabbit back. And we laugh and then go hunting. But it is really like everything and you just have to trial and error it until you find what you like.
