Remington makes an 870 28ga. (Pump)

I was looking at one last year for $300 new, with the black synthetic stock.

Thanks for putting me on blast Krabby. I think I did pretty well with that twenty gauge last year.

Alan, The 1st time I hunted with you, I thought you needed a Home defender Tactical 12 Gauge.

Now you are making that 1st shot count.

I bought a 28ga Franchi AL48 last year. It's super light and death on rabbits. Of course Franchi and Berreta are being made by Benelli. Their HQ is in Maryland.

Man up and hunt with a .410 pistol, ya bunch of sissies!!!!!!!! Or try hand grenades, but hunt with slower hounds or ya get 'em both.

A twenty-eight is sweet but shells for a 20 are MUCH easier to find and can be bought a LOT cheaper (here anyhow). There is no significant difference in the weight and I can't tell the difference in recoil or even sound when I shoot (the same model). Just something to think about!

I have a Remington 870 Express in a 28 Gauge. Last year was my first hunting season with it a I liked it alot. Just watch where you buy shells for it some places seem to be priced high.

If you don't mind telling how much you paid for the guns you purchased please share that info also.
