Hey Ed, we need to get together soon. Terry, his Dad and I had dogs out and they pounded rabbits for 2 and 1/2 hours. There was only about 5 minutes that there was no running. One rabbit ran by with a sign that said "PLEASE SHOOT ME"! LOL. Maybe we can meet soon I want to see that Dutch pup run. Terry's female and his Dad's male are pretty fast and can make a rabbit move.

Rod,

Yes, lets get together soon. I am looking forward to seeing Jaws and your Blueback female go too. Jaws ran good last year and I am sure she has improved. Belle stepped a few gears and is tuned up. Blue is still young but impressive. He runs a little different style hunt than Belle but they complement one another. Blue hunts on the move and you know Belle's style. The little 4 month old female I have is really impressing me. She jumped another one this morning and stays glued to the line and barks every breath. I really like what I am seeing and honestly can't believe what she is doing at her young age. I named her Pike Ridge Anna May. Can't wait to get together. Tell Terry to come along and whoever else. Lets hit it some Saturday morning in early October or sooner. Maybe stop in for some Bob Evans before we go - just like old times. I am free to go anytime.

Terry,
Can't make it today but I do want to go to the lot and put down my little female. Maybe next Saturday morning if it fits your plans. I would like to solo her for about an hour then pack her up with Emmy.

I will be there at 8:00 Saturday Morning. Ed, Terry cut some paths through the lot, has a table, coffee machine and the paper comes about 7:30. I think he is charging $10.00 to get in now!

Hope to see you there next Saturday.

Terry, I am going to try and make it there tonight.

I hope to get up with you guys and bring the littermates to Ed's Blue dog. Should be a lot of fun. Rick Yeager and myself were out with 4 males out of the litter and one Reggie female. Had some good running despite poor conditions. They worked out some hard checks and had a lot of hunt. Looking very good so far.

Sounds Good

Sounds good Duke, if we are allowed to run on state grounds this time of year we should meet at the grave yard where we hunted last year.

I have a blueback female that I bought from Greg Brown that is starting to come on. Can't wait to see how she does this year witht he big dogs.

Rod,

I will be there at 8 am this coming Saturday. Probably won't bring Belle and Blue but I will be bring Anna. That lot is a bit small for Belle and Blue and I fear they'll run them bunnies out across the road or in the neighborhood. I never seen a place hold so many rabbits. Great place to run them young hounds. I will bring the big dogs when we hunt the graveyard in October.

Joe,

If you want to come down and run with us in early October let me know and we can set it up. We can get another Big Pack together and hammer as long as we like. Running has been awesome behind my house all week and the hounds have circled the rabbits over and over.

Terry,

PM your address so I can put it in Map Quest. I don't remember how to get to the lot. I'll bring my ten bucks to get in. :D I like my coffee black.

Thanks

Ed

ED, Went back out tonight and they ran them for 2 hours. Terry brought the old man and he has not changed a bit. Rabbits can not fool him. Took my Jill dog for the first time and she is rusty.

That field is getting better, I went back to my truck and one of the dogs had some Squirrels skinned and in a bag for me. I am beginning to really like this place!!!!!!!!

Terry likes to sit around in his scivies on Saturday morning eating Captain Crunch and watching cartoons when he should be running hounds. That's where it all started. :D

Danny,
Ed wanted to get his kennel name out there and contacted the moderator to see if it was OK. Ed, is straight up and a great guy.
