Annual New Years Day Hunt With Dad

Post by BrewerMo »

Dad, Dave, Amy and I thought running would be tuff with the heavy frost on the ground here at the house but when we arrived at our lease ground we found a light dusting of snow and 16 degrees. Running was hammer down! :D We each got our limit to total 24 bunnies.

Dunno why the picture is so little? You can see a better pic at my website in the Hunting Pictures page. It will be the picture at the bottom of the page.

I was just thinking about you today as I trekked home from Wis. It was a balmy 1 degree when I started the truck this morning. Looks like you had a better time today than I did. :D Congrats on the good hunt.

Is that Nittie in that pic? That is ONE pile of rabbits. I don't even think we can do that here in Iowa. Single digits with a foot of snow on the ground makes it pretty tough.
