Just thought since China was going to prop-up the American economy, we should give them a little plug of support.
I hear China is buying American Bonds to help pay for all the tax rebate checks going out(if approved), so spent your rebate wisely and remember who your indebted to...as Ron Paul said, "the Gov. has no money, they take it from others"...

We are to blame for this. Not any particular president. We want to buy things as cheaply as possible, that comes with the Made in China/Taiwan/Pakistan/Brasil/Mexico... anywhere but in the Good Ol US of A! We buy cars and trucks made overseas, we buy electronics made overseas. We want top dollar for the jobs that we do, but don't want to pay for the products that are made in America.
Jude, your balanced budget came from slaughtering the US Military. Closing bases, booting people out, cutting the guarenteed benefits to our veterans... That is the single biggest expense that the US Govt has. Yes, the war is costing this country a ton of money, but I would rather it be over there than fighting on our streets and in our neighborhoods.
Gas prices are up because of global demand, and what do we do about it? We continue to feed our SUV's, continue to buy our $50K vehicles (made overseas) and then gripe about having to spend $70 to fill up our tanks. But, we continue to travel all over the country with our gas guzzling pigs.
Our healthcare insurance is outrageous because of the McDonalds factor. Let's get rich by sueing someone else and don't think about the reprocussions. Doctors have to pay higher insurance costs because everyone sues then because they didn't prescribe an anitbiotic when it was a viral infection and the antibiotic wouldn't have had any effect on the illness. So when they go against what they were taught, give in and give the patient what they want instead of what they need, then you get antibiotic resistant bacteria that don't respond to antibiotics and then you have longer hospital stays and more dr visits..... it is just a snowball effect.
We as Americans are to blame for what is going on. We have made our own bed, now we have to lay in it.

Corporations are not established to take care of the public. They are established to supply widgets that the public needs or that they can convince us we need. When they think otherwise, folks like you and me quit investing in them and they go belly up. You see what happens to economies when the government tries to force companies to take care of the citizens. They end up like Cuba and Europe. How many people are trying to get to Cuba.

i think aparticular prez is very resposible for this he just wanted to finish what daddy started. his oil pocket has did extreemly well why the american economy and the working man has struggled.we are very close to recession and this plan about rebate is simply crazy ..BUT IF U WANT THE REAL REASON AMERICA IS IN SUCH BAD SHAPE... the scripture says any nation that forgets god will fall. if u dont have the blessing of god u have the curseing / we NEED PRAYER BACK IN SCHOOLS NOT GUNS. WE DONT NEED ABORTION CLINICS ..WE NEED AND SHOULD HAVE PRAYER AT BALLGAMES AND MOST OF THIS DONT FALL ON THE PRESIDENT if fall on the shoulders of failed parentsthat did not show their kids the importance of prayer and church and living with morals in a christian way! well thats my sermonn for today lol.,

yep Red, you are right. The more we take Jesus out of our lives and schools, the more troubles we end up with. Back when there was prayer in school, we didn't have Columbine incidents, back when our govt acknowledged that we have a God, then you didnt' have shootings at the govt proceedings (Kirkwood, MO 2 days ago). The more we try do/think for ourselves, the bigger the hole we dig ourselves into. The Bible should be our guide, not the misguided people trying to make good on promises they never intended to keep in the first place.

Very well put Red and Emery. One of the reason the latino and orientals due well in this country is because they patronize their own bussinesses. We have all these people proclaiming they're Afro-American ,Mexican-American<or some other kind of American is just wrong. You're either American or not period. It doesn't matter if your red, brown, yellow, orwhite, your American or not.

Apparently, according to my stock portfolio, their not established to take care of the share holders either.
I hate getting wiped out and the company coming back whole and the price per share shoot to the moon. These durn CEO's are pure crooks and have the justice system bought & paid for, in their pockets...

I agree with Red And Emery, We the People are the ones destroying this country because we have pretty much became a Godless nation. The Word says That if my people will humble themselves and pray I (God All Mighty) will heal there land.
People always want somebody to blame instead of just looking at there own lives and doing what God called them to do and following "The Manuel" Christ said how can you say you love me and follow not my commandment. All i got to say is you better get ready cause the trumpet is gonna sound and the LORD is coming back!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord and Glory to God The Most High!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S.
It is nice to see some Godly men and women on here, May God bless you and all that you put your hands to.

I can not believe you can still blame someone that has not been in office for 8 years, and lack of religion in school.Look at the last 8 years for problems . As for religion, that is a job for parents and the church ,not the school system.
