Mourning a big loss at Sandy Valley

A few days ago we found Daisy Patch dead in her box at the age of only 7. There was some minor sickness leading up to this but nothing to think she would pass on to briar patches above  . Those of you who were on the waiting list for pups from her & Dozer should contact us if interested about future pups from other crosses. Daisy was one of those very rare dogs you only get once or maybe twice in a lifetime if your lucky, she will be sadly missed. Her memory will live on through her pups & the many memories we & the others who have hunted behind her have. Did not want to write too much of a book here just pass the word on to those who are interested, more will be up on our web -site in the next couple of days. Here is a music video dedication my wife and I put together to share our memories with you. It's amazing how one little 13 inch beagle can give you so many memories, in the field & with your family around the house. I can still hear her bawling across the juniper fields and swamps after old Mr. Hare up on Drummond.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Done Gone,
We have no idea how she died. She was only 7 and had never had any health problems at all in the past. She was one of the dogs that lived at my father-in-laws' and he said she seemed a little off last Thurs. I went down to feed all of the dogs for him on Sat. because he was out of town and was also planning to check on Daisy and run her to the vet if she still looked ill. Well it was too late because I found her laying in her box dead-I knew something was very wrong when she didn't come running out to greet me. Just to be on the safe side we bleached the kennel and burned the box since we don't know how she died.

Its amazing how these little hounds become part of the family.

I only have 2 beagles, but they are my best hunting buddies! They never have an excuse not to head out to the field.

Sorry for your loss...
