Is that an old stip job?? We have a few up here in Webster, but the ones i've hunted doesnt produce very many rabbits, and the ones we do jump usually beet feet to the hole. Hope u have better luck than we do.

yes thats a old strip mine me n another guy have it leased from land co. we got 1500 acreas n its infested with rabbits but one reason it is because we dont allow no killing rabbits ya can bow hunt or any other small game but no shooting bunnies really great placeto run young dogs if you dont have a rabbit jumped within 5 minutes frol dropping your dogs something bad is wrong went this morning hammered for 2 solid hours n imean solid dogs get in shape real quick here the last pic dogs had been running for probally 45 minutes straight like they were looking at the rabbit they had just come up out of a big hollow n rabbit went straight up hill n crossed road right in front of me i waited trying to get a pic of rabbit but it weas flying when it crossed in front of me was right on top of me before i seen it

Man thats great. I have a spot that we just run dogs in, but its only about 80 acres or so. I dont like to shoot rabbits (unless I'm on cheat hare hunting and thats gett'n old). Where are u located I'd like to hook up and run dogs sometime on the off season. I have two dogs one is a male almost 2yrs and really coming on strong and my female is a little slower but is a real good jump dog. I'm always looking for someone to run with. Most of the time everyone up here is into gunning and I'd rather listen to dogs run.bg

Sounds like most of us here in WV just want to run the dogs. Seems like after the young hounds know what a rabbit is, the owners just want to watch and listen to the hounds. Great, ain't it

yep im a beagler also only carried a gun twice all seson long love to hear a good chase and after the shot all goes silent
