I THANK GOD

My daughter was in a wreck 2 nights ago. She is lucky to be alive. She was the passenger and her friend misjudged a curve and rolled her CRV 100 yards down a steep county road. I have been stressed all weekend over this. God must have big plans for her because she is going to make it but is pretty banged up and has to have some surgery.

I have 4 children and only one daughter and she is my life. Keep Sara in your prayers. They wrecked on Chapel Hill Rd. in Zanesville, Ohio. Anyone familiar with that road knows how bad it is.
Here is a pic of my daughter and the car.

I'm glad she is going to be alright . Isn't it wonderful to
have someone to watch over our children when we can't
be there .

Will put her right up there with the Skiles' family.
I want to tell a little story here if I may interrupt this thread for a minute. It kind of has the message that everything happens for a reason. It may not be clear at the moment, but...
Our pastor was set to go on vacation about a month ago. He and his wife were celebrating their 25th wedding anniv. and were out to dinner. They got a phone call about his mom being at the hosp and to get there quick. Apparently, this sibling has a habbit of crying wolf, so they finished dinner and got on the road to the hospital (about 30 min away). His mom was suffering from an abdominal aortic aneurysm. She had dumped a ton of blood already and surgery on her old frail body wasn't really an option. So, they made her comfortable and said their good-bye's. One day short of her 81st birthday. This event postphoned their vacation plans.... Well, he was back in the pulpit today and told a story of him being with a good friend that he grew up with, and a fellow pastor as he died at the hospital and actually did the funeral for him while he was on vacation there. He was 44 years old. He was there for his friend in his last hours and for his family as they grieved. Now, had his mom not died when she did, he would have missed the whole scenario by a week.
God works in mysterious and wonderful ways, to Him be the glory.
Keep us updated please.
Thanks,
Emery

Thanks for the prayers and support. She is a lucky girl. I know that the good Lord was with her that night and I think she knows that as well. I am still shaking inside from all of it and it has been very difficult for my wife. I will keep you all posted on her surgery and outcome.
Thanks again for your support and I truely mean that from my heart.
