Never had flea problems for 20 years , Now i cant get rid of em.Frontline nothing is working.
Need help momma is getting ready too kick me and dogs out of the valley.

jimbo i have used 7 dust for fleas n it has worked great in getting rid of fleas they are like alot of other parasites ya never get rid of them ya only control them adams flea n tick spray works good too lots of other stuff on the market but those 2 i have used with good results another very good one is paramite dip but i have had problem getting it in the last few years jb

2 things to try.. bayer tree and shrub insect control. available at lowes. 3cc on a dog where they cant lick it off. also we have been using the insecticide cow ear tags. i have used the orange ones that have permetherin impregnaged in them. attach to inside of dogs collar. they are about 20.00 for 2 dozen. available at tsc . they work! goodluck...

Those prolly arent fleas. Try some RID shampoo on your hairy areas and your privates. That should handle the problem!!!!!!!!

Funny you mentioned me being experienced with "fleas".

Some of you on here may not believe this, but I was kinda wild in my younger Army days. I really liked to Party like a rockstar.Back in 1992 I was stationed in Georgia, and dating a Stripper named Cherokee. She was a really nice girl. I got the "Fleas" from her. She said she got them from her house dog named Tyrone. Somehow all the times I was at her place I never saw a dog, she must have been telling the truth, because those were the most viscious "Fleas" on Earth.

Somebody give me a link to the Bayer you can get from Lowe's. Want to be sure to get the right stuff.

Is that sort of like "the dog ate my homework". They could have named the movie
"Cherokee Dawn and the Burning of Atlanta." Starring Harry Woof and Spike Crabtree.

To kill the fleas quick I recommend Adams Flea and Tick Spray. You can spray it and see the fleas fall off. There is a pill you can get that is new on the market, but I'll have to look up the name of it.

Dang if thats the case ,i gotta get rid of these fleas quickly.Hey crabby i caught fleas in 84 off the toliet seat at the toy tiger in louisville.At least thats what i told my momma.

I like Adams also...but i buy cedar shavings from Walmart..for beddin..works for me..no fleas..

i have a lab that is an indoor dog and this was a terrible summer for fleas here, couldnt get rid of them on him , had him dipped at the groomers several times and she findly told us to treat the real problem first ( our yard ) . got some pesticide at wal-mart believe it was ortho brand killed fleas and six or seven other kind of bugs it was like 6.50 for a bag , treats about 10,ooo sq. ft , had him dipped again about a week later and aint had a flea since, been about 2 months

The name of the pill is Capstar. It is new on the market and is suppose to kill all fleas within 30 mins. May be hard to find as it is fairly new. Here is a quote on it:

"Treats flea infestations on pets. Starts killing adult fleas on the pet within 30 minutes. One dose lasts 24 hours. Use when pets are likely to be exposed to fleas, such as in dog parks, at shows, or other areas. Also may be used prior to surgery, boarding, or grooming. Active ingredient is Nitenpyram, which interferes with the normal nerve transmission of insects, effectively killing them. Not a preventive. For dogs and cats over four weeks of age. Package of 6."
