My friend ask me to see if anybody knows of a place to hunt boar in Tenn.N.C.Kentucky or can guide him. Name or number sorry to ask on here but I know if anybody knows it's you folks.THANKS GBowers

Wilderness Hunting Lodge in Monterey TN. They are a sponsor of the Youth Beagle Camp and donate a hog hunt to our annual on line auction. Alswamper just got back from the hunt he won. Look back at the posts and you can read about his trip.

The Wilderness Lodge is a fine place. They treat you good and feed you good and plenty of boars to choose from. They ain't easy to kill the big ones. It is enclosed because of the exotics but the area I hunted was 1100 acres. They will let you hunt at your own pace alone or go with you and the dogs. Either way, you see lots of game and have a blast. I would go during the week, lot less hunters. ONly 6 at most the whole 3 days I was there.
A hunt will run you less than $700 for lodging for three days and nights, one boar or sow and processing. $80 is pretty cheap for processing a 275lb pig like I killed.
They do have russians and razorbacks and the owner is a Master Taxedermist. His mounts are not over priced from what I could tell and he has so many awards from folks like Safari club for his "most life like mounts'' its unbelievable.

Walls thanks a lot I will take you up on that I'll call my brother Bob see if he can come.I'm going to give Pete a call maybe I can get him to hunt w/me this year.I'm watching those patches burning up the trial circuit.Thanks GBowers
