Sparta, NC was 3.59 on Thursday, could drive 10 miles over the state line to buy it for 3.49. After they shut down the refineries in anticipation for Hurrican Ike ,it jumped to 3.99 with local gas stations telling us that it will probably hit $5 bucks a gallon and start rationing each vehicle to 10 gallons. anyone on here or in the United States for that matter that thinks our goverment is "for the people/by the peole"............. I have got thousands of acres of ocean front property for sale here in Heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains

What is going to happen when the lines to the gas stations are so full that traffic backs out onto the major highways and peole start literally fighting each other over gasoline?

I have a 550 gallon fuel oil tank so heat my house with two small children and it is going to cost me between 2500 to 3000 dollars to fill it up, and that want last through the winter.

I hope that the asses kissed and the d_cks :baby: (used your imagination) are worth it to the bastards we call our leaders!
