Anyone ever tried Bill Bowman's deer breaking scents?

Do they work?

No I haven't but I did try Tri tronics G2 e-collars and it worked.
Been hunting for 52 years rest of the time I wasted.

Droptine , IMO it's a waste of money. Years ago before Tri Tronics, I tried it on some of my coon hounds and founds that it made them like the scent more than dislike it. Had some really nice deer hounds at that time!
Tried the barrel thing also with deer scent and found that after that a hound will not sleep in a barrel again.
Just a few things I had to learn the hard way!

I tried them, following the directions - it didn't work on the pair I had.
After chasing one across 3 ridges to catch him and leaving the gip in the woods all night, I bought shock collars.
It took the female 2 times, the male was a little harder but I finally made them honest.

Breaking scents don't work because they are dead scent and don't even began to smell the same as live scent. I wasted a lot of cash on the things that did'nt work, because I was looking for cheap way to get the job done. I spent the money on e-collars and now I know I can handle the job of haveing clean hounds.
