Hey guys, I am looking for suggestions on some good boots. I hunt mostly fields with briars and some swamps. What do you all recommend? I have used Lacrosse rubber boots for the past ten to twelve years and they have finally wore out and got a few holes in them. Is there anything out there new that beats them? Looking for something light, waterproof, and durable agains briars ands thorns. Thanks in advance.

Mucks boots hands down. The most comfortable rubber boot I have ever had. They hold up good too.

I like the muck for warm weather and love my new lacrosse side zips for cold weather. Those side zips are awesome and comfortable. I believe they are called the Alpha Burly side zip. Try them and I will guarantee you will love them, especially when it gets cold.

Do they make a snake bite boot in the muck boot? I hunt in heavy briars and honeysuckle.
Copper heads are bad, a few rattlers.

I have mucks, and alpha burly, Lacrosse. I like the lacrosse better, but they are a little hotter.

Do you mean that you used the same pair of boots this long? If so you had better go back to them :D :D

I have been using Lacross (Grange) for years. They are very comfortable. It never gets that cold here in South Mississippi so the un-inulated work best. I hunt a lot and have to buy a new pair every-other year. They only last about 500 miles in these briers.

I have Muck Boot's & Lacrosse. I enjoy wearing both brands. They both have many different models depending on the activities you're involved in. I'm a "Muck Boot Dealer", so if I can help you feel free to contact me.
