A lot of field trialers were out gun hunting the running grounds on opening day here in ky.Don't be complaining at the field trials about having no rabbits.

Most people (myself included) field trial second and gun hunt thier hounds first. I usualy gun hunt our trial grounds for our club and anyone who hunts with us in Saltville Va can tell you we have rabbits when they come.

Just gotta use your head and not shoot tailgates full off your grounds.

i saw some saturday evening gene. drove 100 miles to hunt on public land and our old BUDDIES who harp about no rabbits here shoot em up. makes you wonder if tim isnt right, post it all and our problem can be handled by fish and wildlife.

Geese guys, If I tried to hunt rabbits at our club, I'd be banned. You cant control that kind of stuff? Why waste time catching the rabbits to make the trials go smoother if you're just gonna let people shoot them?

WHY WOULD ANY FIELD TRIALER GUN HUNT THEIR RUNNIN GROUNDS??????


IF I WANT TO GO SHOOT A COUPLE BUNNIES,I GO TO FENCE ROWS AND RAILROAD TRACKS,PLACES THAT THE CLUBS DONT HIT........

We have field trials and we hunt our spots because before we had field trials they were our gun hunting spots and if people don't like it to bad I'll quit field trials before I'll ever quit gun hunting. There is enough places to hunt that you don't have to clean a place out of rabbits. Most people up here gun hunt and don't trial hunt

If Its like last year was people that don't have permision to run there let alone hunt there. From what I was told addingtons has a no firearms zone between Rt 60 and Straight Creek Road. Because of the Company's located there [ only got permission to run not hunt that property ]. Last year there were people hunting there from Johnson, Pike and Floyd counties. Said Northeastern Fish and Game Club gave them permision to hunt. Dont they know that northeastern does not own or even lease that property. [ as far as I can find out only a few people has even been gave permision to run on Addingtons property ]

HEY GENE I DONT KNOW ABOUT GUN HUNTERS BUT THE NEW UKC CLUB HAD THERE FIRST HUNT SAT

up here in michigan at the club im at we let the club use our hunting grounds not the other way around i hunt first trials are fun but killin rabbits is better there is one spot we can hunt and thats becuase the lady said if there is a gun on the property they will call the cops
