I once fed Pride in the white bags and couldn't keep any weight on my dogs. Stools seemed loose also. JMO

The Pride white bag(22/10) was the bottom of the line(cheapest). If you put corn in them, corn comes outta them.
Pride 26/18(green) & 27/18(blue) were good, tho the blue was like they drank to much coffee, made them hyper.

So what you're saying Patch is you would only recommend the green bag. I feed Sport Mix and would recommend any of it (The best I've ever fed). I did however, realize that the white bag is the cheapest but had no other choices as it was all they had to offer. Just passing on what I know.

I have been feeding black bag Pride a while now and I like it OK. It's 24/20 I think and sells for about $20 for a 50# bag. I can't get Sportmix around here.

The green bag in the winter and orange in the warmer weather and my hounds have never been healthier or output lower. They use all of it and I feed a ridiculously small amount. No problems with excessive thirst or low energy. My hounds don't get run much but perform as well as hounds that get run more and I believe it is because of the energy level with the PRide. I will say that I won't feed anything but the orange or green because they are pro series. Pro series is chicken and rice based. I have fed this longer than anything else I have ever fed and won't feed anything else.

this year in maine. hunted 2 of them every day ( 7 ) all day and they stayed in great shape. 1 race was 2 1/2 hrs. and ran over 11 miles according to the garmin system and as soon as they smelled the dead hare they were off again. i dont like the bag they changed to tho

and ive told a rep and distributor they suck. ill feed it as long as i can get it. sam

I fed Blue Seal for a couple years, I was feeding the Performance blend to 2 dogs and Lamb and Rice to the others. I had great results up until about 4 months ago, dogs got loose stool, coat condition went bad and energy was bad. At first I though I got a couple bad bags so I just replaced the foods but the next bags were the same, I don't know if they changed their ingredients or not but all the dogs started having problems with it so I switched to Purina and they are doing great again.

Feed Pride for years [ Black and Green bag ] Not had any problems with it. The Place I bought it went shut down. Have trouble finding it now. The plant where they make it is 4 miles from my house and the company I work for furnishes them with Natural Gas to produce it tryed to buy it directly from them and they wanted more per bag than I was buying it for ,[Just because I was not one of there distribators] So I switched to Purnia.

What size bag do you get and how much do you pay? How much are you feeding per dog each day?
Thanks

I agree with DRamey, All I feed is the Proseries and my dogs dod great on it I feed 1 3/4 to 2 cups once a day and if I don't keep my hounds ran up they get fat as mud and I have to cut'em back a little for a week or two. I think I pay 21.00 or 22.00 a bag and I can feed 3 hounds on it for a good while it seems like.. Won't ever feed anything but Pride I didn't have much luck with the white bag like the other fellow said but since I switched to the green bag in the summer and the orange bag in the winter I love it and the puppy food is great too
