Hypothetical question

You start off with two unrelated litters. You take a two females from litter #1 and two males from litter #2. You breed one male to a female, and the othe male to the other female. You now have two litters. Now, if you were to breed a male from one litter to a female from the other litter would that be inbreeding or linebreeding?

Is there much of a difference? I have seen fathers bred to daughters and uncles to nieces on many pedigrees that have produced some good dogs. I do not breed that close, but some of the bloodline i have came from close breeding. What is the difference between inbreeding and linebreeding?

My short answer would be... Who cares?

Linebreeding and inbreeding are just terms that get thrown around. They have different meanings to different people. You can slap what ever label you want on 'em and it won't change how the pups turn out. How you select your breeding stock is far more important than how they are related.
