The beagling world has lost another great one. I just got off the phone with Lynn, he had called me to tell me that Buzz had passed on today. I still remember the first time I ever watched him run and I knew what a great dog he was. He touched a lot of lives. He was probably one of the best I ever packed a shotgun behind and we traveled a lot of miles going to trials with him. I had a lot of fun handling him in the trials. He just wanted to please you and do his best everytime out. I knew when I left Lynn's house sunday, it would be the last time I would see the old dog. I told him to come out and let me pet him on the head one last time, after that I told him to go back in the box and rest. I hate it for ya my friend, I know how special Buzz was to you, just remember all the good times we had with him and his memory will live on for as long as we're here. Rest in peace Buzz

I only saw him one time. It was in the coal minds. There was moderate rain falling. The handlers stood atop a knoll. Buzz was locked on and when he did bobble he claimed quickly. He seemed to just keep a good steady pace. I always wanted to see him go again and never did. He sure looked special that day.

Sorry for your loss lynn he was a special one

I will always remember the day Buzz got his first place in opens against Tuff. Buzz jumped the rabbit and was gone with it. Claimed all the checks before Tuff got in to the race. He was 14 months old and anyone who ever questioned his foot should have been there when he was a young'un. He was a once in a lifetime hound, mature as a pup, did everything right and more disciplined than a child. I feel privileged to have run with him, judged him a couple of times, and have his blood in my kennel. Lynn I know is hurting from this, even though we are big boys and know the inevitable we struggle with it. LP, I am proud to count you among my friends and to have known such a hound. Rest in peace, Buzz. Anyone who has this blood in his kennel is lucky. Buzz brought a no-nonsense attitude to his bloodline. It will be interesting to see his legacy.

man ..i hate that for ya lynn...he sure was a nice hound and i know he was your buddy..again i hate to hear that..always liked seeing ol leatherface at the trials...buzz is livin strong here in one of mine..its amazing how grown men take it when they lose that special hound..good luck ol buddy

I'm sure glad I got to see ole Buzz run, he was (as Good as) they come.
His Name and Blood, has left a " Mark " in beagling, on both sides of the border. Take care Lynn.

Sorry for your loss. Hope I can own a hound as nice as him some day. Maybe this female I got from you out of him will be the one.

Keep your spirits up even though it is hard ,you got to experience life with one of the best .

Buzz will always be the man dead or alive... I hate it you've lost such a wonderful dog... But keep in mind, you had something most of us will never have....

Rejoice in the memories and keep your head up...
