Hey Jim I had the oppertunity to watch the Logan Elm High School softball team play in regional semi-final action on Thursday.WOW what a great ball team . I didn't see a bad player on the whole team . It was unfortunate that they had to loose at that level . I also attended yesterdays game and watched another great show between Cannal Winchester & Meadowbrook (my area team) . Meadowbrook advanced to the state semi-finals in another 1-0 nine inning win . I don't know if yopu have any relatives or neibors on the Logan Elm team but if so they are something to be very proud of .

Flash,

Is there a better game than Fastpitch Softball? I coached a HS team for 10 years made it to the Regional Finals once and I love the game. I am sure with Jim teaching he knows alot of the players, I have been glued to the tv watching the World Series and DVR all the games I may miss. Good luck to your team in the future, nothing better than a 60mph fastball from 40 feet.

The shortstop (Lucas) is one of the greatest kids I have ever seen, and can really play ball. Also, I run on their family farm at least once a week. :D I was sure glad to see their success. There are a lot of great kids on that team.

I have to agree with Dark Creek, softball is a great game.

See ya,

I have to admit I am addicted to softball, did anyone else see what Ali Gardner from Florida did last night? She comes to the plate in the last inning bases loaded and two outs and they were down by 3 runs. Ali was 0 for 9 in the World Series and 0 for 3 last night, she comes to the plate and as she was getting her signal from the third base coach she winks at him, Total confidence and then hits a walk off Grand Slam. Nothing better.

AV Spencer, congrats on being selected for a play-off game . I am a class 1 baseball & softball I lean towards softball but enjoy doing both . I received a 4.33 rating for softball this season maybe I'll get a game next season . I'm also ASA,IFA,and NSA sanctioned and do national little league baseball ,I am a board member for Guernsey County Little League, and a board member/safety officer for Ohio district 5 Little League so if it has a bat & ball I'm in on it .

Flash,
I am with you. I love the sport. I have never done softball. But the bat and ball and the snap of the glove is all I need.
