Nite Light also sells brush proof bibs and jackets...
http://www.huntsmart.com is their web site.
I prefer the Dans when it is warmer like now... but nite lite has the insulated bibs and jackets as well as a three in one parka type that is good for them real cold days. Dans is also REAL reasonable on prices... an Omish community in Ohio just trying to make a living... good fellas.

May cost more, but if you buy a Mule clothing, it will be the last you buy, unless you change size. Best stuff I ever saw for upland game of any kind. I've never had a single briar get through. Can't wear it out. If you ask nicely, they will even do custom work like transmitter pockets, etc. for you. Spend the money and be satisfied.

Wick was bought out, and is being made in Altoona Pa. I don't much about the new stuff, maybe some one else can help you out with that.

Wick was not bought out, Stone Creek Supply has bought material that is the same as Wick's and is starting to make clothing. Jackets now, chaps and bibs to follow. Check out their site for contact info,

I have only had the Nite Lite bibbs and jacket for one season so cannot speak to the resistance to briars. Thank you for your advise as I will wear it cautiously next year (if it gets cold nuff... real warm stuff

). I purchased the new shirt (canvas w/ briar proof sleeves and chest). Has worked out real well with their bibbs this spring... the craftsmanship on this shirt needs some work... but all in all a good purchase. I run with a beagler that uses Mule and swears by it... he says pertty myuch the same as flatpick... "Shuld have bought Mule... you'll never need another pair" so IF my Dans get too ragged... I will try Mule.

Now that it is warm Dans.... I have a pair of bibbs for after a rain, chaps for the dry hot running and the shirt (I believe it was like model 134). check out crownpointsupply... they are a member and in the "Equipment trading post".
I purchased the Nite Lite insulated bibbs and 3 way jacket last fall and wore it a cpl of times early Janurary... but the briars were not so thick that I would have noticed any fault with the fabric holding up. I will say I liked the warmth and the fact they are 100% rainproof.
