I know guys that use it but you had better be careful. A friend of mine g who raises horses gave some to his collie and almost killed it. I understand that if you control the dose corectlly it works well though.

ITS A WELL KNOWN FACT THAT COLLIES CAN NOT BE GIVE IVOMEC OR ANYTHING WITH IVOMEC IN IT. I BELIEVE THERE IS ANOTHER BREED OF DOG THAT CANT BE GIVEN IT ALSO, POSSIBLY LABS.

i use equimax wormer and i recommend it. it will take care of all your worming needs including tapeworms.if your dog has heartworms it will make them sick or kill them when the ivermectin starts killing the worms.i start my dogs on this wormer before 8 months of age.dosage is about the size of a small pea.

How much equimax do you give a 20 to 25 pound dog? I would like to know the correct dosage.

Swamp Thing,
I grew up in Richlands and have lots of friends back home that rabbit hunt around there. I go back every chance that I get.
I use the Eqimax paste also. It is the most cost effective and complete product around. All dogs should be free of heart worms when you start using it or any other product containing ivomec.

i hunt around the old hoffman forest ,which is right around richlands. i have a few friends in that area and most of us use equimax wormer and are pleased with its results. i agree that dogs should be worm free that is why i try to start them on equimax as puppies to keep them free of heartworms.

i genarally give my dogs the wormer about every two or three months.i have a couple of dogs that eat like horses but stayed skinny ,i gave them two doses about two weeks apart and now they are gaining weight and looking good.make sure your dogs don't have heart worms before you use equimax.
