I'd put some sevin dust on their backs. Rub the hair the wrong way to get it down next to the skin.

As a former dog groomer, best gentle, flea shampoo is this.
Find an empty bottle with a squirt top that holds about 2 cups of water. Empty, cleaned out dish soap bottle is perfect.
Put in 1/2 cup of oatmeal baby shampoo
About 7 or 8 drops of Essential Oil of Pennyroyal (get from health food places, some feed stores, online. Cost about 8 bucks, one bottle last forever)
And 2 or 3 drops of blue Dawn dish soap.
ONLY the original, blue Dawn and you only need a couple of drops.
Fill the bottle the rest of the way with warm water, squirt on to dry dog, lather, let sit for a couple of minutes and rinse well.
The Pennyroyal oil is a flea repellent and leaves a nice scent. It is also soothing to any skin irritation from flea bites, so's the oatmeal baby shampoo. I have used this on tiny kittens (more sensitive then puppies) and on rank, muddy, Oh-Lord-WHAT-did-you-roll-in??? dogs with good effect.
Pennyroyal is also good for earmites. 5 or 6 drops to a 1/4 cup of baby oil, apply with Q-tip. Essential oils are VERY strong. Ultra, super concentrated. Really only a few drops or you will burn skin. A 1 ounce bottle lasts a couple of years even if you use it all the time.

Buy some Frontline Plus and treat the mother, should kill all the fleas on her and the pups in your kennel with one treatment on her. I have used the Frontline spray on pups also. Just spray a light treatment on the pups.

Re: Need help, got puppies with fleas!!!
our vet told us to use adams spray, put it on a wash cloth and wrap the puppy in it leaving out it's head for about 30 sec. it worked for us. we used frontline for the mother and adams for the puppy, just don't spray it directly on the puppy. also dawn dish soap works hope this help josh

I had this same problem earlier this year. I treated the mother with frontline plus and bathed the pups in Pert Plus shampoo(recomended by my vet) and it worked great. no more problems after that.

Tractor Supply carries it. Vets have it but it is usually more expensive through them. Dr. Foster & Smith and Revival Animal Health are some places you can probably get it on-line.
