fellow wv beaglers need some help please

hey guys I'm new at rabbit hunting this is my first season and my problem is haveing places to run my dog I was just wondering if any one could help me I'm not asking for secret places just need some ground to get a couple bunnies up like public land within an hour or so from charleston or if any of you would want to take a newbie out that would be awsome but I appreciate any help

I have been told that there is some really good running around Cambell's Creek on the old strip mines. I am not familiar with that area but if you are in Charleston it may be something to check into.

i have hunted the green bottom wildlife area it is in mason county. close to highway. also robert c byrd locks and dam but cant gun hunt it.

Stonewall Jackson lake in Lewis county. Get there early it gets hunted hard. There are rabbits just about everywhere down there.
Get you a map and go. Have been hunting there steady for 15years and have had a lot of good hunts there. Hope this helps.
