I just have something to say about beagle breeding

I know a lot of you look for a beagle that hunts, or a show beagle. And that is what I wanted too. My male hunts when we can and loves it. My female is a sissy and just a couch potato. But they both have wonderful backgrounds and great dispostions, so I bred them. Had 5 wonderful pups. Some people most likely thought I was dumb cause my beagles are just mostly family pets to have pups but I found homes for all of them. And the new familys all have kept in touch. And I have heard nothing but good things from them and their vets. On how well bred they are and so on. But my point is I think I brought 5 wonderful beagles into the world. So why do some people think because they don't have anything under their belt that they can't bring wonderful hunting/show beagles in to the world? Sorry this has bugged me for a long time.

Well i'm not sure. TC and JC have hunt / show dogs might be mixed, might not. i can't say for sure on thiers.
but i look at it like this. you can
never-ever make everyone happy.
so i do what my wife tells me....

ROFL. ( i found that funny)
i do what please's me. as long as it dont interfear with work or church. i'm good to go.
and if someone dont like it. well i'm sorry we dont see eye to eye.
i have found, the older i get the less i care about the BS . as long as my wife and kids are doing well, the bills are paid and we have food in the ice box. the rest of the crap don't mean anything. i jus drift though the week untill the weekend so i can mess with my dogs. and get my Jesus fix on Sunday and we are good to go for another week.
got any pic's of the pups they had?
here is some pups we just had they are 13 or 14 weeks now. all at new homes.
they are out of house dogs.
take care.

If it makes you happy, then by all means keep doing it. My grandmother always said to me, never go through life trying to live up to people's expectations cause your do that the rest of your life and you'll miss out on half of the good things in your life.

If God made anything cuter than a Beagle puppy, I'd like to know what it is. Sweet pics.

I had a litter earlier this year out of my best running female to a FC male here in Newyork. I was dead set at only letting the pups go to a hunting or trialing home because thats what they were bred for. Well a lady called me and was looking for a beagle puppy for her daughter. Her daughter had had lyme disease and had complications from it and had been sick all year long. Anyway she was finaly getting better and so she wanted to get a pup for her to have something to look forward to. I told her her initially that the pups were only going to hunting homes, but after she told me the story about her sick daughter I decided to let the little girl come to my home to get her pick of the litter. It was one of the most satifying things I've ever done. Watching that little girl pick out a pup and take it home made my year. What I'm trying to say is, the person your accountable to is your self....You look at your self in the mirror in the morning and if you feel you that a good thing, thats all that matters....Happy New year!!!
