I am looking for information on making dog bells. I have been using homemade bells for numerous years from a guy here in Nova Scotia , But I have heard he no longer makes them. I am interested in making some myself, kinda like catching trout on your own flies I guess! Has anyone on here ever attempted in making them and if so where did you find the information. I am interested in the cow bell type not the sleigh bell type to start with. Thanks and pass it along if you know where I can find this info. Thanks

I always run bells on my dogs, right or wrong, just makes me feel better I guess. But, I buy the "cow type" bells from a feed store here, they only cost $1.50 each. I don't think I could begin to make them for that price. Just my 2 cents.
