Went out this morning. Didnt do too good for the first hour. I was running in about a foot of snow. I switched places from running up high on an old strip job to down in a hollow. Thats when it broke loose. There was still 6 inches in most places but the running was really good. my Let Er rip male was running rabbits under brush and all I could see was snow moving and then all the sudden a rabbit pop out and disappear again in the snow. It was a sight to see. After being in the house for a month of bad weather it was a satisfying morning. Im going back tonight and do it again. Now , If the snow will hold off or at least slow down I may be able to get a pup started.

Yeah , Horsepen is still bad. Like I said a foot of snow or more. I took a 4 wheeler and still had trouble getting to certain places on the strip.I gave up and dropped down in Grants Branch and had pretty good running. The problem there is , It isnt a big area and only a handfull of rabbits but it saved the day this morning.

Im hoping that i can get them out tommorrow. I see the bunnies are out. I hope the snow will be crusted over enough to support their weight.
