here is a picture my Dad took about 15 years ago!!!...believe it or not...he was driving down the road..seen this...ran back to town (2 miles) bought a disposable camera...came back...and took the pic!!...no longer a myth...a black snake will eat a copperhead!!!

Not all king snakes are banded or have white markings. Also notice how big this snakes body is, a black snake if he is stopped long enough will never be much larger than it's head the whole length of it's body.

Thats cool whatever they are.

Never seen it but heard of it. There is a huge black snake residing in the hills behind my house. I leave him alone and have never seen a poisonous snake in or or around my yard. Now I know for sure why.

I'm shivering just looking at them.................................yuk! I HATE big snakes...............poisonous or not!

It's a good picture, but I bet he would eat a bunnie just as quick as that snake.

I got tons of black snakes at our place. We never have seen a copperhead on the property at all and neither has my dad.
