A few of my beagling friends up north of me, came up with a saying. HAIR OR HOLE. Its very simple to comprehend, but tough to do it without the right dogs. Hair, this means one thing, dead rabbit. Blood and fur in the dogs mouth!. Either running it until the bunny locks up from over heating or just plain ol' tuckers out, or running it down when the rabbit squats and tries to hide. Very simple, but like I said, gotta get the right dogs to pressure the rabbit, keep him moving. Gotta have the dogs that can keep consistent pressure and moves through a check, with quickness and power.
Then you got the Hole part of it. This basically means, the rabbit is scared out of his mind and doesn't want to become dog food. He knows there is only one place a dog cannot go, so he quickly busts out his best moves to get away. Just like the Hair, you keep the pressure on the rabbit, he's going to find refuge and quickly as possible.
So I got three wonderful and meaningful words for you guys and gals, HAIR OR HOLE???
Whats your beagling motto??

I know I need to run in some other states cause in WV I have seen a few rabbits caught, but if they are "freezing up" on others regularly I want to conserve shells. I have seen, by our hounds, and a few others a caught rabbit. Caught with a dog running the down or just snagging them on a jump. I have not however seen one "freeze up". I may not have the best hounds, but they can and will regularly run a rabbit as long as he will stay in front of them. They just will not run until exhaustion here in the places I run. Maybe that is one thing in WV we can brag on, we have smart rabbbits!lol. My motto is have a good time and don't go home po'd!lol

I will give glomski that hug and I want my happy meals.
Jimmie I need a couple junie pups to help out my hair or hole ratio. Not getting a lot of hair, but a ton of hole. I hear a dash of junie will even it all out.

Sheeesh Mark is probably moving closer to me. I'm cool and you know it john. Glomski and McCarthy knows it. Tim and Nancy Marshall thinks I'm the coolest thing since Ben and Jerry ice cream. Abshire and Chad Blair will be amazed by my humor and personality. The only way Chad Blair and Jimmie Abshire can hang wirh me is if they have hair or hole dogs.
I will be here until Tuesday, sign the deal. Haha

You got that right, "RUFKM"
Glomski, I think I did a great job in getting Matt Spencer turned around for the better.......But Ol Casey, well.......that's your new project my friend.....you've really got your work cut out for you.
Harner, me and Glomski will show you what hair or hole is when it comes rabbit season in the coal mine. Glomski, are we still on for that bet we made?
Regards,
Mr. Accountability
